E-BASED LEARNING
Information technology has ballooned to encompass many aspects of computing and technology, and the term is more recognizable than ever before. The Indian information technology sector has been instrumental in driving the nation's economic growth. Thus e-based learning in this technology age becomes indispensable and all the more significant.

Learning becomes more interactive and informative through e-based learning. The learner becomes more adaptive and gets to decide when to learn from a book, a video, a simulation or a game. The children are more involved and motivated when they are being taught with practical and real life examples, videos, animations etc.

Our classrooms are fully equipped with the latest tools like interactive boards, projectors, LCD TVs et all. We teach through digital content apart from the regular and conventional methods of teaching.

PROJECT BASED LEARNING
Project based learning is a comprehensive instructional approach that develops valuable research skills among the students. It builds the design, problem solving, and decision-making skills and allows the students to come up with realistic ideas and solutions. This student-centric learning is extensively used at Sovereign as it gives hands-on approach to the students; it engrosses them in doing rather than thinking.

INDUSTRIAL VISITS
Industrial visit is one of the teaching tools that are highly recommended. Interaction and interface with industry experts help students to relate theory with practice. Students of Sovereign frequently visit industries to gain workable knowledge of the processes used and to experience the functioning of the industries.

WORKSHOPS & SIMULATIONS
Workshops provide a highly interactive setting where children can identify, exchange, discuss and elaborate emerging ideas, high-quality research, cutting-edge practices and other efforts. Through simulations, children can anticipate certain situations and be able to draw conclusions about the real system by studying and analyzing the model. Keeping this in sight, we organize workshops (internal/external) and simulations consistently on constructive and emerging topics.

GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL PRESENTATIONS
Presentations are ways of communicating ideas and information with others. It not only helps the students to improve their communication skills, confidence level and public speaking ability but also acquaint them with professional and effective presentation skills. This also helps the students to achieve the characteristics such as vocal emphasis, eye contact and body language. At Sovereign, students are performing a good number of individual and group presentations in academic and allied areas that not only widen their communication skills and knowledge but also group cohesiveness.

THEORY OF MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES
Theory of multiple intelligences was developed by Dr. Howard Gardner. He suggested that intelligence is not a single attribute that can be measured and given a number. He says that the traditional notion of intelligence, based on I.Q. testing, is far too limited.

Traditional methods of teaching incorporate only linguistic and logical-mathematical intelligence. We need to get into broader perspective and regard intellectual ability. At Sovereign we believe that different children have different aptitudes and intelligences and there should be different ways to teach them and to realize their capabilities.

Keeping this in mind, we have developed our classrooms that incorporate artistic, creative, and practical activities. We provide opportunities for authentic learning based on your students' needs, interests and talents. Our classrooms acts like the "real" world. Students become more active and involved learners.

Here are the eight Intelligences:

Linguistic Intelligence

We emphasize on creative writing, reading skills, foreign languages, personality and communication skills through presentations, workshops etc.

  • Famous examples: Charles Dickens, Abraham Lincoln, T.S. Eliot, Sir Winston Churchill.

Logical-Mathematical Intelligence

At Sovereign we highly believe that solving a problem logically enhances the intelligence level of a child. Maths and English lab, solving case studies, logical and analytical reasoning questions, sudoku, puzzles etc. are few of the strategies adopted by us.

  • Famous examples: Albert Einstein, John Dewey.

Visual-Spatial Intelligence

Our classrooms are fully equipped in terms of class-library, projectors, digital content etc. This gives an opportunity to the child to think in pictures and visualize a future result.

  • Famous examples: Picasso, Frank Lloyd Wright.

Musical Intelligence

It is very difficult to build the ability to make or compose music, to sing well, or to understand and appreciate music. We have professionals who teach music and instrumental in the right manner.

  • Famous examples: Mozart, Leonard Bernstein, Ray Charles.

Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence

We understand the need of the development of physical abilities. We provide specialized training for Sports, Yoga, Aerobics, Dance and Theatre.

  • Famous examples: Charlie Chaplin, Michael Jordan.

Interpersonal (Social) Intelligence

Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.

--Michael Jordon

To make students learn the importance of a team and a team work, students are given projects to work in groups, regular house activities are organized, and various positions and responsibilities are allocated at investiture ceremony.

  • Famous examples: Gandhi, Ronald Reagan, Mother Teresa, Oprah Winfrey.

Intrapersonal Intelligence

For self-analysis and reflection, to be able to assess one's accomplishments, to review one's behavior and to make plans and set goals, psychologists and counselors interact regularly with the students.

  • Famous examples: Freud, Eleanor Roosevelt, Plato.

Naturalist Intelligence

At Sovereign, we impart natural intelligence through activities like ecology, gardening, wild-life observation, nature camps etc.
