The Sovereign School celebrated the 74th Republic Day with immense patriotic fervour and zeal.A plethora of activities were organised to infuse the spirit of unity, brotherhood and patriotism among the students.
The children in grades 1 and 2 learned about India’s political history, freedom struggle and the Constitution of India. They learnt how the great sons of the motherland have fought to attain freedom and make India a sovereign state. Therefore, the children felt inspired and participated actively in Hindi Patriotic Poem Recitation and celebration. One of our brilliant students ANIKA DABAS of Grade 2B, recited a heart touching patriotic poem for which she was rewarded with a token of appreciation 11,000/- by our honourable Chairman sir, Mr.RN Jindal.
The school choir sang patriotic songs and the National Flag was hoisted by the honorable chairman sir, teachers and students from all grades join together in the singing of the National Anthem.
Each student pins up a national flag to their uniform and spreads messages of peace and unity.
