The Sovereign School celebrated Dussehra to commemorate the victory of Lord Rama over the demon Ravana. This holy festival is the occasion to hold in the highest regards, the virtues of Lord Rama, who is believed to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Dussehra strengthens the vows of devotees to follow the path and deeds of Lord Rama. 

The Sovereigns celebrated the day with full zeal and avidity where the day started with a special assembly organized by the students. The celebration took off with the most awaited “Dandia beats”, "Navratri Durga Rangoli" Competition, Archery play competition, Ramayana enactment, flying of sky balloon hot air lanterns as the sign of Victory over evil,wall of truth etc.

    Mahatma Gandhi or more lovingly known as Bapu by all Indians is internationally acknowledged for his doctrine of Non- Violence that led India to its glorious freedom. 

    To revere this day, the sovereigns were imbued with Gandhian values and thoughts and vows to become berths citizen of India and this world. All the students were involved in Project “Charkha making”, Project “Make in India- 5D logo making”, Photography competition on “Father of the nation”, Essay writing and Slogan writing competition.Moreover,special assembly was organised by Grade IX and X wherein students not only represented their persuasions but also pledged to follow his doctrines.

      The Sovereign School was the proud hippodrome for ‘ZONAL FOLK SONG- GIRLS' consisting vivid and manifold of songs from distinguished schools of Zone-13, on September 13, 2022. Vibrant hues of folk songs were added by 30 participating schools. It was indeed a treat to an ear to hear such melodious voices under one roof.

        The talented sovereignins have added yet another feather in our cap by achieving laurels in Zonals. They've proved that persistence and determination are a sure way to success and glory. MADHAV AGGARWAL of Class VII has bagged the first position in 'HINDI DECLAMATION-JUNIOR CATEGORY' whereas DEVIKA KHANDELWAL of Grade XII has bagged the III position in 'ENGLISH DECLAMATION-SENIOR CATEGORY.'Their achievements are inspiring and appreciated by the Sovereign fraternity.

          ARISHNA JINDAL AND V.PRISHA, brought laurels to The Sovereign School,by winning the meritorious First position at the Zonal Level Collage Competition in Junior Category . The entire school fraternity is extremely proud of their outstanding achievement and conveys their best wishes for the upcoming future ventures.

            The Sovereign School feels elated to announce that yet another feather has been added to the cap of Sovereigns' achievements and Debate accolades. In the recently conducted Debate competition organized by Zone-13, our young sovereignins enthusiast delivered an exceptional performance in their squabbles and bagged the THIRD positionMADHAV AGGARWAL AND RIDHVIK of grade VII have not only presented their arguments but also procured the acknowledgment from the judges.

              To attain excellence in every field our sovereignins always strive to do their best. Mono-acting is a very interesting art form which evolves both acting as well as intelligence. Sovereignins participated in monoacting competition at zonal level and Prince Bansal of Grade XII has bagged the third position in senior category.

                From honeycomb to cycle, you name it and sport is present there. Zone 13 conducted a competition of skating wherein a plethora of students from different schools participated and depicted their skills. It was an interesting and close competition wherein students participated enthusiastically. The following students of our school participated and bagged the following prizes :

                Quad event:

                1) Nirvi Yadav of class VI bagged the Gold Medal in 500 metre under 11 category and Silver Medal in 1000 metre respectively.

                Inline event:

                1)Lakshay of class X bagged Silver Medal in 500 metre (under-17 category) and Bronze Medal in 1000 metre .

                2)Arihant of class VII bagged Bronze Medal in 500 metre (under-14 category).

                  The Sovereign School celebrated Teachers’ day with great gusto and gaiety on 5th September 2022. Students performed a scintillating cultural show to denote their love, respect, acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work put in by the teachers towards their development. The cultural show incorporated stand up comedy, song and dance . They also entertained teachers by arranging fun games for them. They indicated that, teachers play a vital role in making their pupil accountable citizens of tomorrow and wonderful human beings. They are the cornerstone of students’ future and there’s nothing worth enough to gratify them for their selfless service and commitment. All teachers enjoyed and appreciated the programme.
