The commencement of the new academic session, 2023-24, seemed more overwhelming than ever before. The sovereignins were embraced by the facilitators, with a warm smile, as they entered the sprawling portals of the school. They had fun in abundance interacting with their new teachers and classmates. Students were content and fervid to come back to school the next morrow.

The Sovereign school  organized Earth day with solemnity and splendour on April 21, 2023, in the school premises for the sovereignins. 

An array of activities such as a Scavenger hunt, bottle cap murals, weather versus climate, 3 Rs, compost bin, etc. were conducted wherein students participated with great keenness. Students also pledged to invest in our planet and continue putting in their efforts to leave a positive impact around them. The activities were planned to create maximum awareness towards goal  13- CLIMATE ACTION of SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. Students also motivated their peers during the special assembly today by delivering a speech on Sustainable Development.

Amidst the rich harvest,

Baisakhi has arrived,
In all its majesty.

To make the Sovereignins aware of the spring harvest festival in all its essence, our students celebrated Baisakhi. A special musical programme was arranged for the children wherein the students presented a song followed by an energetic dance performance on Baisakhi. Whole school danced on the tunes of “DHOL”.

The enthusiastic tiny tots carried home memories in the form of self-made craft.

As we stepped into the new academic year, an *Orientation Programme* for the new set of members of the sovereign family was organized on March 31, 2023 to acquaint them with useful information about the curriculum, rules ,regulations of the school and to ensure a positive atmosphere for learning. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the venerable madam principal, Ms. Shelley Aulad- international Veteran: THE GUEST OF HONOUR and Vice Principal. It followed with the dance performance and music orchestra.The Kindergarten co-ordinator bestowed a remarkable presentation to apprise the parents of the philosophy of the school. The psychologist Ms. Neha Udhar , briefed them about the Parenting style and also allowed the parents to have their queries answered. Parents were then requested to move to the classrooms where the respective class teachers gave them an overview of the various subjects, teachings, and co-scholastic activities and methodologies.

During the culmination, new members of the family appreciated the endeavor and binded the golden thread of bond with the institution.

Convocation Ceremony

The Sovereign School celebrated the Convocation Ceremony with great fervour and enthusiasm in the portals of its sprawling campus.
The Principal of the school Ms.Preetika Gupta, complimented the graduates on their achievements and also congratulated the teachers for their dedication and hard work in shaping the students through education and other co-curricular activities.

It was indeed a memorable experience for the students and they remain blessed as they continue their education in the mainstream of the school.
